Sacramento, CA - Member companies wishing to participate in the CICC/DTSC voluntary Pollution Prevention (P2) Challenge Program are encouraged to prepare and submit project applications for review. Three CICC member companies were recognized for their leadership in pollution prevention by DTSC Director Maureen Gorsen during CICC's 30th Anniversary Celebration.
Companies interested in participating in this second round are asked to submit a project abstract by August 15, 2007 and a completed application no later than September 1, 2007. The review team, comprised of CICC, DTSC and select members of the AB-1916 Pollution Prevention Advisory Committee, will examine the applications for completeness and merit.
Recognition awards will be presented as appropriate during CICC's Planning and Policy Meeting at Tahoe City in mid-October 2007.
